Three Men in a Boat by Jerome K. Jerome, is a humorous novel about a two-week boating trip on the Thames taken by three friends—Jerome, George, and Harris—along with a fictional dog named Montmorency. Initially meant to be a serious travel guide with historical facts, the book became more of a comedic adventure filled with witty observations and mishaps. The humour remains timeless, making the novel enjoyable even today. Jerome later wrote a sequel, Three Men on the Bummel,   about a cycling trip in Germany.
